Find Your Power to Beat Laziness

Do you often feel lazy—maybe even almost every day? Have you ever wondered if there’s something wrong or tried to figure out why it keeps happening? I’ve been there too. I used to feel the same way. I wasn’t sure what was going on with me. I kept asking myself, “Why am I becoming so lazy?” It’s a frustrating feeling—one we all want to avoid.

But don’t worry. You can start small. You don’t have to force yourself to be productive if your energy is low. Instead, try to relax, think positively, observe your surroundings, visit green spaces, and reconnect with yourself through nature. Sometimes, we lose our way simply because we’re lacking motivation. That’s normal. What matters is finding a way to return to your purpose, hold onto it, and take small steps forward.

Here are a few simple things that helped me:

1. Think positively

I’ve felt lost, tired, and completely unmotivated at times. It was one of the worst feelings I’ve ever experienced. I thought I could push myself to be productive, but forcing it only made things worse. Eventually, I decided to give myself a break. I started focusing on positive thoughts, did some meditation, and tried to reconnect with my purpose. I asked myself, “What do you truly want to do? Be honest with yourself.” That small shift brought me peace.

2. Visit green spaces

Spending time in nature helped me unwind and recharge. It’s a great way to escape the daily routine and give your mind a breath of fresh air. You can just sit on a bench, stay still, and let the calmness of the natural surroundings relax you.

3. Give yourself a break

Sometimes, doing nothing is exactly what you need. Don’t pressure yourself to always be “on.” Take time to remember good memories, breathe, and let your mind rest. It’s okay to pause.

And remember—cheer yourself on, even if no one else does. You’ve got this.
